Implement Odexa yourself, or choose a service provider to manage governance, agreements, reporting and optional payments on your behalf. You set the terms and grant explicit, limited authority. Providers can manage free access too. Every implementer works from the same open specification; no commercial account, foundation service or payment layer is required to run the free reference.
Access controls at your origin or gateway can work alongside Odexa agreements and evidence. The reference demonstrates direct and delegated operation, offline evidence verification and a change of provider using fresh agreements and credentials. Separate implementations are checked against bounded exchange cases; external vendor interoperability is not certified.
The Odexa Foundation was founded to advance a fair, open web where originators have a say in how their assets are accessed and used, and an opportunity to share in the value created. The protocol is one part of that wider mission.
